If the recession last for 9 months, many people will get from the recession 9 months of unhappiness and after the recession they will most like still be unhappy. There is always lots to grumble about if you focus outside for your happiness.

Some people will get 9 months of happiness and they are no different from the people who suffered 9 months of torture while the economic downturn persisted. Be among those who are happy in the recession. Use this time to raise the level of your happiness. Here are a few tips from my new book, THE TIME TO BE HAPPY IS NOW.

A - Assume the role of a happy person. Trigger the biochemistry of happiness

B - Believe that happiness is your birthright and behave with the happiness of others in mind

C - Live consciously. Turn up the wick of your awareness. Notice your body. Notice your thoughts. Simply notice where you are and how you feel, and attention will lead to control and control leads to happiness because we are happy when we take control of our emotions and our destiny.

D - Dwell on happy thoughts. The difference between happy and unhappy people is often just what they think about most of the time.
